Executive Order 9066

Signed and issued on February 19th, 1942 by FDR, Executive Order 9066 cleared the way for the deportation of Japanese Americans living in the west coast to internment camps around the country.
"...from which any or all persons may be excluded, and with respect to which, the right of any persons to enter, remain in, or leave shall be subject to whatever restriction the Secretary of War or the appropriate Military Commander may impose in his discretion." - Executive Order 9066

Executive Order 9102

 The War Relocation Authority, responsible for enforcing the relocation and interment of Japanese Americans was created through Executive Order 9102, signed on March 18th, 1942 by FDR. In total, 120,000 Japanese-American were place fin internment camps under the regulation of this authority. 
"The Director of the War Relocation Authority is authorized and directed to formulate and effectuate a program for the removal,..." -Executive Order 9102
